For Singapore Business Owners, Age 45–65

Your Will says who gets what.
My Legacy Planning protects and helps pass on more.

Most business owners spend 20 years building wealth — and never spend an hour deciding where it goes if something happened to them. That is the gap I help you close.

One conversation. I will show you at least one gap you have not thought of before.

Who this is for

This is for Singapore business owners who want their family protected — not left to figure it out alone.

You own or run a business in Singapore

Sole proprietor, partner, or shareholder — with real assets tied up in the company.

You're between 45 and 65

Still active, but aware that the window to plan properly does not stay open forever.

You want to understand how it all fits

Most people have a will, some insurance, maybe a trust — but nobody has ever checked if they actually work together. You want to see the whole picture, not just tick boxes.

What good planning gives you

Four simple outcomes.

Your family

Your family knows what exists, where it is, and what to do — without figuring it out during grief.

Your business

So the business does not get frozen, fought over, or forced to sell when something happens to you.

You decide

You decide how much your family receives, when, and how — not the courts, not a default formula.

Your retirement without compromise

Enjoy your retirement and leave behind what you want for your family with the same pool of money — without one reducing the other.

How it works

Three simple steps.

01

Say hello on WhatsApp

Send a message. Tell me a little about your situation. I will take it from there.

02

Legacy Clarity Review

A 30-minute conversation. We map what you own, what you owe, and where the gaps are. Most people leave this conversation having discovered at least one gap they had never thought of before.

03

A plan you understand

You get a clear, written summary of what to do — wills, nominations, business succession — in plain English. No jargon, no surprises.

What clients say

They came with a question. They left with a plan.

I had spoken to a lawyer about writing my will before. But I never completed it — when I tried, there were more decisions than I expected and I kept putting it off. When I sat down with Wei Ying, I realised I wanted more than just a will. I wanted my grandchildren to benefit from what I leave behind, but not when they are still too young to handle money on their own. And I wanted to make sure that if my children ever go through a divorce, what I leave them stays with them and my grandchildren. Wei Ying had answers to both.

I have one property but three children. I wanted each of them to have a property of their own one day, not a one-third share of one property. After getting legal advice, I was told that was not possible with what I had. Wei Ying showed me there was another way. Each child can have a property of their own. I am glad I did not settle for one-third each.

As a business owner, my biggest concern was not just who gets what, but what would actually happen to my family and business if something happened to me. I never asked myself what happens to the business in the years between my passing and my daughter being ready to run it. Wei Ying showed me there are ways to keep it running and give her the time she needs to be ready. That alone was worth the conversation.

I always thought that if I wanted to enjoy my retirement, I would naturally leave less behind for my family. That felt like the only way. Wei Ying was the first person who showed me I did not have to choose. She looked at what I needed to live on in retirement and what I wanted to leave my family together, not separately. For the first time I could see a way to do both without giving one up.

About Lee Wei Ying

An SME owner who plans for other SME owners.

I've spent more than 20 years building and running my own accounting firm. I know what that means: the years of decisions, the people depending on you, and the quiet awareness that if something happened tomorrow, a lot would be left unresolved.

That's why when I sit with a client, I start with what you want for your business, your family, and your retirement. Then we look at whether your plans actually match your intentions. More often than not, there's a gap.

My accounting background helps me see risks that don't appear in the financial statements. Personal guarantees, key-person dependency, and unclear ownership aren't accounting issues but they can undo everything you've spent years building.

Building wealth is only part of the job. The real challenge is making sure it continues to protect the people you built it for.

What Singapore business owners don't know about protecting their family.

A short free guide, written for SME owners. Five things I most commonly find people don't know — and what it costs when they find out too late:

  • 01Your CPF nomination only covers CPF
  • 02“The law will settle everything” — but not the way you think
  • 03When the founder is gone, the business value drops — fast
  • 04A lump sum is not always a gift
  • 05Trusts are not just for the very wealthy
